I am a college student that has had diabetes since 2003. I started out on MDI and managed to keep my HbA1c readings in the high 5′s and low 6′s. My control improved even more, with my A1c moving into the mid and low 5′s when I began pumping with an Animas IR1250. Over the years, I have researched and learned much about the disease. Additionally, as a very technically minded person, I have been fascinated by and fortunately had the opportunity to take advantage of new technology as it has become available. Currently, I am pumping Novolog and continuously monitoring my blood glucose with a Minimed Paradigm 722. My goal with this site is to provide advice, experiences, and information to other diabetics that will ultimately help them to improve their control.
